Multimedia Principle

What is it?

Multimedia Principle is the overall aspect of multimedia learning. This principle is made up of many other principles. E-learning is made of many audiences and should be taught specifically to each audience. This can be explained as there being three cognitive processes of the brain which are selecting, organizing, and integrating. Some teachers like to refer to this as the science of learning.

Examples:

In the screen shot below is an example of the science of learning. This explains how Dr. Richard E. Mayer of Harvard University uses the science of e-learning to explain how he uses multimedia within his classroom to give his students the best chance of learning in his class.
